Cantwell Cliffs - Hocking Hills State Park Hiking Area

Winding narrow passages, steep inclines and a mysterious rock shelter makes Cantwell Cliffs an exciting place to visit. Kids love the passages and wildflower enthusiasts will be floored by the numbers of species in the spring.

Directions: From Logan Take State Route 33 north toward Lancaster and then to State Route 374 Interesting things to look for: Cantwell Cliffs offer hikers some of the most colorful in the fall. But compared to most of the other trails, it is more remote if you wish to pass fewer hikers on hot, summer days. A winding trail follows a narrow passageway and ends in a rock shelter.
